Accessibility & Policies
The Discovery Orchestra makes every effort to accommodate the needs of individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities for all its programs and activities as well as at its administrative office. Upon request, and with 2 weeks notice, specific accommodations will be made subject to our available resources.
Large Print Programs and Listening Guides will be available for our Discovery Concerts and in-home recitals. Assistive Listening Devices are available at our Discovery Concerts. Please see a Discovery Orchestra staff member or usher at the concert venue before the performance begins.
Braille Listening Guides may also be available, please call the Discovery Orchestra office at 908-226-7300 at least 2 weeks prior to the concert .
The Discovery Orchestra (TDO) respects the needs of individuals with disabilities who are assisted by a companion (or companions) when participating in our programs. We understand that companions may be other individuals or service animals. TDO will make every effort to accommodate companion situations with regard to seating, mobility, transportation and any other needs as they arise for all our programs and services.

The Discovery Orchestra Employment Accommodations Statement: The Discovery Orchestra will make reasonable job accommodations for all employees, with or without disabilities, with regard to office/work-place environment, break schedules, technological equipment etc. Our current administrative office is not accessible to persons in wheelchairs; however, job interviews can be held at an off-site accessible space as needed. The orchestra will utilize its ADA Grievance Procedure to handle employment complaints relating to ADA.
