Conductor, music educator and public television personality, George Marriner Maull has been leading a nationwide campaign in classical music listening for more than a decade.

His work in live performance, lecture settings, and media productions have inspired audiences of all ages to ‘listen better’ and to emotionally connect with this wonderful art form.

As founding Artistic Director of The Discovery Orchestra, Maestro Maull has delighted the public with his passion, knowledge, wit and warmth, championing the many personal and social benefits of actively listening to music in all styles, and classical music in particular.

It celebrates his infectious ability to foster classical music listening as part of daily life – benefitting children, adults, seniors, classical novices and experts alike.

The Maestro Chair offers an exclusive opportunity to applaud Maestro Maull’s achievements. An individual, couple or family is invited to support The Maestro Chair through an annual gift of $25,000 or a single gift of $500,000 to establish an endowment to fund the Maestro Chair in perpetuity.
