Maestro Maull takes us into the ambivalent world of compound meter in which composers like Antonín Dvořák play with our senses as they toggle back and forth between organizing sounds rhythmically in groups of threes and groups of twos.  It’s a delightful experience that we want to be aware of in order to fully enjoy the music.
