The music of American composer George Gershwin remains as beloved as it was when it was written in the last century. Maestro Maull looks inside the 3rd Movement of the 1925 composition Concerto in F for Piano and Orchestra –now almost 100-years-old – to demonstrate Gershwin’s amazingly elaborative and fluent creative process. With melodies as singable as those of his Broadway shows, this work evokes strong emotional reactions … without words!
