Once Upon A Variation

Sir Edward Elgar, perhaps best known for his Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 played at graduation ceremonies the world over, also wrote some of the most powerfully moving music ever written. In this episode of Inside Music, Maestro Maull explores what makes Nimrod, the 9th variation from Elgar’s Variations On An Original Theme, Op. 36 – popularly known as the Enigma Variations – bring people to tears.

Inside Music is made possible in part by Robert Scott, managing partner at Main Street Wealth Management in Bedminster, New Jersey.  Their team of certified and dedicated financial advisors are passionate about improving their clients’ lives.

Additional sponsorship of Inside Music has been provided by Alfonso Finocchiaro in memory of Diana Finocchiaro.
