Patrons’ Dinner Gala 2025: Strings of Passion

Includes a cocktail hour, Discovery Music program, the 2025 Discovery Award presentation, Fund-a-Need, dinner, and dessert.

Maestro George Marriner Maull will be joined by award-winning classical guitarist Celil Refik Kaya and his wife, violinist Amanda Kaya, as they explore two movements from Manuel de Falla’s beautiful Siete Canciones populares Españolas arranged for guitar and violin.

We will also be presenting the 2025 Discovery Award to long-time supporters Bob and Cynthia Hamburger. Bob and Cynthia attended their first Orchestra event back in 2017, and they have been introducing friends and colleagues to the mission and work of the organization ever since. Bob is currently the Board President at Wharton Arts, a valued educational partner of The Discovery Orchestra, and the parent organization of the New Jersey Youth Symphony, the New Jersey Youth Chorus, the Paterson Music Project, and the Wharton Performing Arts School. He and Cynthia have served as sponsors of our Galas and TV productions for many years. We are very pleased to recognize and honor their long-term impact on the Orchestra’s events and programming.
